I have a fairly recognisable tone of voice, because I once took to heart the oft-quoted copywriting advice of “Write as you speak and put your personality into your writing.”
So when I get someone else to write something for me, it never sounds quite ‘right’.
But I’m also really bad at selling myself. Not great when you need a sales page, right?
Where Did I Go When I Needed A New Sales Page Writing?
I know a LOT of copywriters, but when I needed a sales page for the non-wanky SEO course that wasn’t 5000 words long and didn’t sound as if it was written from a “Sales Pages 101” book from 2003, I knew Matt Drzymała of Indelible Think was the person to write it.
I messaged him, had a call with him, paid my deposit, and left him to work his magic.
A few days later I had the perfect sales page, that read so much like it was written by me that I had to go and check my website to make sure he’d not copied it from something else I wrote (I am joking, of course, I could never have written a sales page for myself that was as on point as the one Matt wrote).
Want to read it? It’s the non-wanky SEO course membership page.
The whole process was stress-free, fun, and left me with a wonderful page to put on my website that didn’t clash with anything else on there.
Thanks, Matt, you were perfect. No notes.
Need a fun, on brand copywriter for your sales pages and website? Matt’s yer man!
